Laser Engraving
We can laser engrave your contest awards for whatever your club budget is. We will give you
the “best” for your money. We do the engraving for the Scale Masters each year, many SAM
clubs including the SAM Champs. We can do all types of laser engraving but we specialize in
real Alder wood plaques.
Laser Cutting
For laser cutting we have a 100+ watt laser. This laser was designed to CUT with a option to
engrave and not a engraving laser that can be used to cut. We can cut standard 36” and 48”
lengths of balsa and 12”x48” plywood. A custom designed spliter lets us cut two pieces of
material at a time which can cut your cost in half.

My laser has a 48”x24” vacuum table to hold the material down. Many engraving lasers
cut on a metal table which will leave the bottom of the balsa parts brown. The table
leaves the bottom as clean as possible. We can cut full 36” or 48” balsa or plywood.
With the extra power we can cut up to 1/4” aircraft ply at .4 inches a second. We use
the splitter on balsa up to 1/8” thick to 48” in length.
